VERA Enhances Knowledge of the Automotive Industry

On February 26, the VERA team gathered at the CSVP facilities in Rato for a workshop led by Rodrigo Ferreira da Silva, President of ARAN—the National Association of the Automotive Sector—and Vice President of CECRA—the European Council for Motor Trades and Repairs—and AME—Automotive Mobility Europe.

The session marked another step forward in VERA’s strategy to deepen its understanding of the automotive sector and strengthen its unique value proposition in the business intelligence market.

More than just a training session, the visit was a true immersion in the field. The team had the opportunity to tour the facilities and observe the processes in the workshop, the parts department, and the sales area, gaining a close-up view of the operational reality that underpins the data processed by the BI solutions. This hands-on experience is crucial to ensuring that the analyses and dashboards developed by VERA accurately reflect the dynamics of the business.

Understanding the processes, pain points, and challenges faced by teams on the ground allows VERA to go beyond technical data analysis. It is this close connection to the business that sets the company’s service apart from other BI consulting firms.

During the workshop, Rodrigo presented a comprehensive overview of the automotive sector in Portugal, Spain, and Europe, highlighting the key challenges and trends that are shaping the industry’s future. Among the topics discussed were profound technological transformations, the energy transition, new regulatory requirements, and growing pressure on margins and efficiency.

In a rapidly changing environment, where strategic decisions require ever greater speed and sound reasoning, business intelligence solutions play a critical role in supporting top management. The ability to transform data into clear, relevant, and timely information is now a key factor in competitiveness.

Since January 2026, Rodrigo has been collaborating with VERA on a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the automotive sector across the Iberian Peninsula. Among the main areas of focus are:

  • Development of a network of business contacts in the Iberian Peninsula;

  • Visits to and gathering of information from key players in the automotive sector, with the goal of acquiring relevant know-how;

  • Publication of articles and organization of workshops;

  • Establishing connections and providing support for the development of a study of the Iberian automotive market.

This partnership reinforces VERA’s commitment to industry expertise and an increasingly integrated approach that combines business knowledge and technology.
